Leader Development Afternoon and District AGM

Over 70 leaders took the opportunity to come to our Leader Development Afternoon and District AGM, over the afternoon there was sessions on;

• Young Leader scheme – how can you benefit from having Young Leaders volunteering within your section and what you need to know about the scheme
• Module 1e training – E=essential information for Executive Committee members
• Online Scout Manager – get the most out of the this useful tool
• Youth Shaped Scouting – getting young people involved
• Validation sessions – will be running all afternoon, an opportunity to have a couple of modules signed off

The leaders were then given an update and a chance to the districts vision and development plan for the next few years. It was a great attendance and something we look to build on in the future.
