Wantage Scout Group

We are a thriving group based in the centre of Wantage. We are the amalgamation of two groups, 1st and 4th King Alfred, and are looking to meet the growing needs of Scouting in Wantage.

Our Beavers, Cubs and Scouts are very active in the outdoors, and frequently enjoy hikes, camps and bike rides in the surrounding countryside.
We have a two thriving Beavers Colonies, Cub Packs and Scout Troops, all of which meet at our District Headquarters on Springfield Road, Wantage during term time:

1st KA – Thursday– 6pm to 7.15pm
4th KA – Monday – 5.30 to 6.45pm

Cub Scouts – Age 8 to 10.5

Put your phone down and what are you left with? Just teamwork, courage and the skills to succeed.’
