Grove Santa Sleigh makes £1,004!

Date: 14th Feb 2021 Author: Tracy Thomas

Grove Scouts were delighted to be able to welcome Santa and Rudolph back to Grove at Christmas.

With collections online and by text, we managed to collect £1,004 to add to our fundraising total for the year. This is an amazing amount and will really help to keep things running at this difficult time.

A huge thank you to “Santa” and all the Scout elves!

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
