Explorer Units - Home

We have four Units within the District, geographically they are based in Wantage, Grove, Stanford-in-the Vale and Shrivenham.  Respectively they are names Ridgeway, Shackleton, White Horse and Waylanders.  There is also a Unit dedicated to supporting Young Leaders.  Please check out the Unit's own pages by clicking on the Explorer Units Navigation button above.

....

The Units are open to all young people aged from 14 to 18 years, and they run active programmes throughout each year and sometimes get together to take part in joint activities.

....

If you would like more information on this exciting section please contact the District Explorer Scout Commissioner; Derek Hillbeck, desc@kascouts.org.uk or check out the dedicated web pages on the national web site  link

Badges featured on this page are Explorer Scout Activity badges, the ones that go on your left sleeve.

They're not the most important badges - those are listed below - but do tend to get forgotten, hence this page highlighting a badge a month.
